Mrs. Hayes
7th Grade ELA
Cooper Middle School: The Hidden gem of cobb county
Afternoon,
This week we are continuing our study of narrative writing in preparation for the Narrative Touchstone on Friday 10/4/19. Homework
The deadline for submitting a classwork/writing assignment for late credit is Tuesday 10/8/19 in class. No assignments will be accepted for quarter 1 late credit after that date. Help Session There will be a joint help session with Mrs. Hayes and Mrs. Paden Thursday (10/3/19) morning at 8:15 covering narrative writing. Students must see Mrs. Hayes or Mrs. Paden for a pass. Conference Week Conference week is October 14th-18th. Soon, there will be a link on the cooper website to sign up for a conference with your student’s teachers. When you sign up for a conference, you are only signing up to talk to that specific teacher. If you would like to meet with multiple teachers, you will need to schedule a separate conference with each teacher. Conferences only last 15 minutes to allow teachers to meet with as many families as possible. If your student receives ELA support through an IEP, please sign up to meet with Mrs. Paden. Respectfully, Jamie Hayes 7th Grade Language Arts Cooper Middle School
